Ceren Bektaş

TRANSLATION - INTERPRETATION, VOICEOVER & MC SERVICES

Ceren Bektas was born in Istanbul, in 1983.

She started living abroad at the age of 3 due to her father's job appointment.

After completing her nursery and primary school educations at a British school with students from all over the world, she moved back to Turkey and completed her middle school education.

Her high school period took place within multinational environments back in the Middle East again.

In 1999 she returned to Turkey and entered the Bogazici University, Guidance and Psychological Counseling Department.

During her professional life, which started upon her graduation from university, she received further trainings in her areas of interest: language, elocution and voiceover.

Since 2006, she has been working in areas which combine all her competencies; practicing simultaneous and consecutive interpretation, doing written translations, taking place in voiceover projects and providing MC services in special events.

She is a member of the Turkish Conference Interpreters Association (TKTD) and the International Association of Conference Interpreters  (AIIC).
